A Glimpse Into My Journey

How I got here, and why I believe in this work with my whole heart
If we were sitting together, tea in hand and blankets wrapped around our knees, I’d probably tell you this work I do didn’t begin with some polished plan. It began in the messy, raw, very human moments of motherhood, marriage, and feeling like I was falling apart inside — even when everything looked “fine” from the outside.
After having my second child, I hit a wall. The overwhelm was thick, and I was barely hanging on, let alone enjoying life. Financial stress, sleepless nights, and a growing sense that I was meant for something more — something different — kept tugging at me.
And then… doors started to open.
Through a dear friend who believed in me fiercely, I found myself stepping into a world I didn’t even know existed. Acupuncture sessions turned into holistic fairs. A free training turned into discovering mentors who introduced me to breathwork, goddess yoga, and energy work. I took my first Reiki training in 2021 and haven’t looked back since.
There was no single “aha” moment. It was a series of whispers, nudges, and eventually, bold yeses — even when I was scared.
Today, I’m here because I know what it feels like to be in survival mode. And I know what it feels like to come home to your body, to reclaim your joy, and to remember your power.
But let me be clear — this isn’t about perfection.
There was a time I didn’t think I could even get through the weekends with my kids. The emotional overload, the mess, the noise — it felt like too much. And truthfully? I still have days like that. The difference now is that my window of tolerance has expanded. My capacity has grown.
It’s not that hard things don’t come up anymore — they do. But I have tools now. Tools to regulate, to recenter, to breathe through the storm instead of getting swept away by it. Practices that help me soften instead of shut down. To reset, rather than unravel.
That’s what embodiment has given me — not a shiny, perfect life, but a more resilient, compassionate relationship with myself.
What Lights Me Up
I’m most alive when I’m dancing barefoot, moving to music that stirs something ancient in my bones.
I love watching my children laugh with their whole bodies. Lighting candles at night and sinking into the softness of ritual. Deep, honest conversations. Cacao. Moments of stillness where I can hear my own heart again.
I believe in the wisdom of the body. I believe in pleasure as medicine. I believe in crying, laughing, raging, and breathing through it all.
And I believe in women remembering who they really are.
Why I Do This Work
Because I know what it feels like to be disconnected from your body. To feel like you're just “getting through” the day. To wonder if you’re ever going to feel like yourself again.
And I also know the power of reclaiming your voice, your breath, your worth. The power of sacred community. The transformation that happens when you come back into your body and begin to live from a place of embodiment, not exhaustion.
Heartfelt Embodiment isn’t just something I teach — it’s something I live.
It’s a remembering. A reclaiming. A return.
